Apple has listed over 20 job openings in March 2025 for retail positions across India, as the company prepares to launch new Apple Stores, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to local hiring and community engagement
Apple is ramping up its retail expansion in India with the announcement of four new Apple Stores in key cities, including Delhi NCR, Pune, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. This move comes as part of the company’s strategic push to deepen its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing tech markets.
In a LinkedIn post, John Taffe, an Apple Store leader, shared the company’s excitement about the upcoming expansion, stating, “Apple’s journey in India has been incredible, and we’re thrilled to continue growing in these vibrant cities. To make these new stores a success, we’re looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our team.”
Apple has already listed more than 20 job openings on its "Apple Jobs India" website in March 2025, with a significant number of them focused on retail positions. These positions, aimed at supporting the new Apple Stores, will be located across various locations in India, further highlighting Apple’s commitment to local hiring and community engagement.
Apple expands retail footprint in India
The move follows the successful opening of Apple Saket in Delhi and Apple BKC in Mumbai in 2023. These stores attracted large crowds, particularly during iPhone launches, signalling the strong demand for Apple products and services in India. With the upcoming stores, Apple aims to provide customers with enhanced shopping experiences, offer access to exclusive services, and deepen community engagement.
India has become a critical market for Apple, as reflected in the company’s record-breaking sales in the country in Q1 2025. The four new Apple Stores will provide more opportunities for local consumers to experience Apple’s premium products firsthand and engage with the brand.
In addition to expanding its retail presence, Apple has also begun assembling the iPhone 16e locally, demonstrating its ongoing investment in the Indian market. The company recently launched the Apple Store app in India to further improve the shopping experience for its growing customer base.
