It is reported that Apple is planning to hold its biggest product launch event of the year on September 10. Apple will unveil the latest iPhones, watches and AirPods in the event. The unveiling will be followed by the phones going on sale September 20, in line with Apple’s typical approach in recent years.
The launch is a critical one for Apple, given it has suffered sluggish sales of its smartphones and wearable devices in recent quarters.
The iPhone 16 will boast a larger screen on its Pro models and new camera features, such as a dedicated button for snapping photos. The tech giant will launch a suite of artificial intelligence tools called Apple Intelligence.
While the phones will not be vastly different from last year’s models, the wearable devices are due for bigger changes. The company’s watch Series 10 models will be thinner and also will have large screens.
The company is also revamping its AirPods lineup with new low-end and mid-tier versions. Apple is introducing noise cancellation feature on its mid-level AirPods and updating the entry-level model.
