Breaking News
Apple is set to begin a series of product announcements this week, with at least five new devices expected to be unveiled between March 2 and March 4. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook signalled the rollout in a social media post, describing it as a “big week” beginning of March 2.
While Apple has scheduled an event for March 4, industry reports suggest that some announcements may precede the formal presentation. The Cupertino-based company typically releases product updates through press statements around mid-morning U.S. time.
iPhone 17e Likely to Lead Announcements
Among the headline products expected is the iPhone 17e, positioned as a more affordable addition to the iPhone 17 lineup. The device is anticipated to retain a $599 starting price while introducing hardware upgrades, including a next-generation A19 processor and 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence features.
The iPhone 17e is also rumoured to adopt the Dynamic Island interface, replacing the earlier notch-style design. Reports indicate it may include the same 18MP Centre Stage front camera featured in higher-end variants and an updated C1X modem aimed at delivering significantly faster connectivity speeds compared to its predecessor.
New iPads and M5-Powered MacBooks
Apple is also expected to refresh its iPad portfolio. A new iPad Air powered by the M4 chip could be introduced alongside an entry-level iPad equipped with the A18 processor. While design changes may be minimal, the entry model is likely to gain support for Apple Intelligence, marking a notable capability upgrade.
On the Mac front, updates to the MacBook Pro lineup are anticipated, including 14-inch and 16-inch variants powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The MacBook Air is also expected to receive an M5 chip upgrade. In addition, Apple may unveil refreshed Mac Studio desktops and a new Studio Display.
The multi-day rollout reflects Apple’s continued push to expand its AI-driven ecosystem while strengthening its hardware portfolio across smartphones, tablets and personal computers.
