ASIRT has recently conducted Techday – August 2012. The event has started with the first EVOLVE session by Prakash Agarwal, a Virtual CFO making an analytical presentation. He brought out the problem areas for retailers and service providers and gave tips and mantras for success.
ASIRT Gold Sponsor Member Netgear then focussed their talk on their POE line of switches and products. Along with a sight of their latest products and forthcoming technologies to the audience they also answered many questions that lit up knowledge banks of SIs and Retailers. Harshal Charya, Netgear, offered special handholding for sales, joint pitching to end-customers for Netgear products through their distributor Hallmark Systems and also committed enhanced technical support for all ASIRT members for entire range of Netgear products.
Furthermore, the second EVOLVE session was conducted by ASIRT President Kshitij M. Kotak on SWEAR BY THE DEEP SEA that questioned several existing business practices, followed trends, methods of work, herd mentality amongst others. Only owners of IT System Integration and Retail companies were invited in the second EVOLVE session due to the sensitive nature of the session.
Swear by the Deep Sea session narrated the story of an IT System Integrator and unveiled a module of the Deep Sea Method based on which that SI revived his business by calculating his real costs realizing how he could get out of the quicksand to get to running a successful and profitable business.
Lastly, ending another Techday, Chetan Shah, ASIRT Chairman, presented a vote of thanks to the speakers and sponsors.
