The three-year collaboration will introduce AI-driven threat intelligence, deepfake detection, and cyber investigation capabilities to government agencies, critical infrastructure, telecom operators, and strategic industries as Indonesia accelerates its digital transformation agenda.
Indonesia’s cybersecurity landscape is set to receive a boost following a new strategic partnership between UK-headquartered cybersecurity and AI risk intelligence firm Athenian Tech Limited and Indonesian enterprise solutions provider PT Duta Firza Mulia.
The two companies have formalised their collaboration through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Athenian Tech CEO Dr Kanishk Gaur and PT Duta Firza Mulia Director Firlie H. Ganinduto. The three-year partnership aims to expand advanced cyber defence, AI risk monitoring, and intelligence-led security capabilities across Indonesia.
The initiative will focus on bringing Athenian Tech’s threat intelligence, deepfake risk detection, and cyber investigation technologies to key sectors including government agencies, critical infrastructure operators, telecommunications companies, and strategic industrial enterprises.

Supporting Indonesia’s digital security priorities
The partnership aligns with Indonesia’s ongoing digitalisation efforts and increasing emphasis on strengthening cyber resilience, AI governance frameworks, and the protection of critical digital infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
As part of the collaboration, the two organisations will jointly introduce AI-powered threat intelligence and early breach detection solutions to public and private sector entities. They also plan to support Indonesia’s cybersecurity ecosystem through advanced digital risk management capabilities, including deepfake protection, misinformation threat analysis, and executive risk monitoring.
The agreement further leverages PT Duta Firza Mulia’s established local presence and industry networks to expand market reach and adoption of Athenian Tech’s solutions across the country. Under the commercial framework, PT Duta Firza Mulia will exclusively represent opportunities it originates for Athenian Tech’s portfolio in Indonesia.
Expanding presence in Southeast Asia
The partnership marks another step in Athenian Tech’s broader expansion strategy across the Indo-Pacific region and reflects its growing presence in Southeast Asia through local partnerships.
Commenting on this association, Dr Kanishk Gaur, CEO of Athenian Tech, says, “Indonesia is one of the fastest-growing digital economies in the world, and with that growth comes new cyber, AI risk, and misinformation-driven threats. Our partnership with PT Duta Firza Mulia marks a major step in expanding our capabilities in Southeast Asia. Together, we aim to strengthen how governments and critical industries detect, respond to, and stay ahead of emerging cyber and AI-enabled risks.”
Reflecting on this association, Firlie H. Ganinduto, Director, PT Duta Firza Mulia, adds, ”Athenian Tech brings world-class threat intelligence and AI security expertise that aligns with Indonesia’s rapidly evolving cybersecurity needs. This partnership will enable us to jointly support national digital security initiatives and deliver high-value, next-generation capabilities to Indonesian organisations.”
