Aurionpro Solutions Limited has secured a major data centre infrastructure expansion contract from IDBI Bank Limited, marking Aurionpro’s entry into the bank as a new strategic account and strengthening its position in mission-critical digital infrastructure projects for the financial services sector.
The engagement involves a comprehensive upgrade of IDBI Bank’s existing data centre infrastructure, covering electrical systems, cooling, security and allied mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) components. Aurionpro said the project will be executed in a live data centre environment, making it one of the most complex infrastructure upgrades undertaken by the bank.
A key element of the engagement is that the entire expansion and migration will be completed without disrupting ongoing data centre operations. Aurionpro said the transition from the existing infrastructure to the upgraded setup will be carried out through detailed planning and precision-led execution to ensure zero downtime and uninterrupted business continuity.
To deliver the project, Aurionpro will deploy a team of experienced design and execution specialists who will work closely with IDBI Bank’s site operations and head office teams. The collaboration is expected to draw on Aurionpro’s experience in managing high-availability environments where operational resilience and system uptime are critical.
With this contract, Aurionpro further strengthens its positioning as a single-window data centre solutions provider. The company offers end-to-end services spanning site due diligence, design and engineering, site master planning and return-on-investment analysis, through to MEP execution and round-the-clock operations and maintenance support.
Industry observers note that demand for resilient and scalable data centre infrastructure is rising sharply among Indian banks as digital transactions grow and regulatory expectations around uptime, data security and disaster recovery continue to tighten.
