BlackBerry Z3 Smartphone launched in India

After sparking some speculation over its price in the Indian market, BlackBerry Z3 smartphone is finally here to woo audience. The first phone to have come out post its partnership with Foxconn, it is priced at Rs.15,990. However, for those buying this smartphone on Flipkart and The Mobile Store will get a special voucher of Rs.1,000 for the first month. The pre-booking has started right after its launch and will be available from 25th June to 2nd July.

Featuring BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.2.1, the new all-touch BlackBerry Z3 smartphone comes with a beautiful 5” display and a long-lasting battery. It is designed for the next-generation customers and offers them connectivity on-the-go along with best smartphone experience.

The phone also offers a lot of interesting apps like Wonobo, a Google Streetview-like mapping service covering top cities. This app provides 2D maps, local search and powerful 3D voice guided turn-by-turn directions – just like an advanced GPS navigation system. The 5-inch smartphone weighs 164g and measures about 9.3mm in depth. The screen resolution is of 960×540 pixels.
