State-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has joined hands with ACES India, the Indian subsidiary of Dubai-based telecom infrastructure firm ACES, to deploy cellular networks at the upcoming Noida International Airport, set to become operational later this month. The collaboration aims to ensure seamless mobile connectivity across the airport campus from day one.
The agreement, formally signed at BSNL’s UP West Telecom Circle office in Meerut, will see the installation of communication equipment across key airport locations, including terminal buildings and associated facilities. The partnership is designed to deliver reliable voice and data services for passengers, airport staff, and other users in a high-traffic environment.
Under the arrangement, BSNL will leverage its nationwide telecom network and operational expertise, while ACES India will handle the design and implementation of the integrated infrastructure. The deployment is expected to meet stringent safety and operational standards required for large-scale aviation projects.
BSNL has prior experience in similar initiatives, having installed telecom infrastructure at Adani’s Navi Mumbai International Airport, which demonstrates its capability to manage complex, high-volume connectivity projects.
Arun Kumar, Chief General Manager Telecom (CGMT), BSNL UP West, said, “This collaboration underscores BSNL’s commitment to strengthening telecom infrastructure at critical national assets. Reliable connectivity at major transport hubs is key to enhancing passenger experience and supporting broader digital initiatives.”
The project reflects a growing focus on digital infrastructure in India’s aviation sector, ensuring passengers and airport operations can benefit from uninterrupted mobile and data services from the outset.
