Buffalo Inc. has recently conducted hugely successful launch event across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Kolkata. At the launch event, attended by over 500 partners, Buffalo showcased its latest TeraStation 5000and 7000 Series NAS, announced newer partner friendly initiatives and rolled out a joint marketing initiative with Axis Communications, a global leader in IP surveillance products and solutions.
Buffalo presented a live demo of its newly launched TeraStation 5000 series of high performance network storage solutions during the event. It runs many services simultaneously and the dynamic combination of the dual-core 1.86 GHz processor and 2 GB DDR3 RAM enables the acute ability to focus on concurrent tasks with minimal performance degradation: experience maximum network throughput while a replication job runs in the background, surveillance video is recording from multiple IP-based cameras and remote users are accessing content. Buffalo also launched TeraStation 7000 Series of 12 Bay rackmount enterprise NAS.
TeraStation 7000 loaded with Intel Xeon quad core processor with 3.1 / 3.8 GHz clock speed with 8GB DDR3 RAM. TeraStation 7000 is available in two version: one with normal SATA HDD and second with nearline HDD to chose from. TeraStation 7000 feature like redundant dual hot swappable power supply and HDD along with four Gigabit network interface and option of adding 10Gbps network to match 24 x 7 performance.
