The Canalys Channels Forum, APAC is to be held from 25th - 27th October, 2016 in Macau. The theme for this year is 'Digital First' and is going to explore the opportunities and challenges facing the channel partners.
The event is conceptualized in a way to address the industry as a whole. A few of the highlights at the event will be -
Best Practice Workshop: Round-table workshops, available exclusively to channel partners and distributors, are designed to create an environment for best practices to be shared, allowing channel members to test new ideas and learn from successes elsewhere. Canalys analysts and experts from outside would take to addressing practical business issues faced by the channel today.
Theater Sessions: The Theater sessions will focus on specific market segments and each session will comprise of a vendor discussing opportunities for channel partners. The theater sessions are designed to validate channel partners' own observations and provide information for medium-term business planning. Some of the vendors would be Schneider Electric, HP Inc., Dell, EMC, to name a few.
Vendor Roundtables: Available exclusively to channel partners and distributors, they are designed to allow discussion leaders to probe partner experiences and feedback on specific topics ranging from market segments, partner program features, promotional campaigns, technical resource development and practice building.
Channel Partner Awards: The Channel Partner of the Year awards recognizes and honours channel partners for their superior performance in particular areas. Nominations can be made by channel partner, including vendors, distributors and customers.
The keynote sponsors have been already finalised and the names are HPE, Dell, EMC and Lenovo, while the premier sponsors are APC, Dropbox, The Distribution partners for the event are Avnet, Cadensworth, Comstor, Ingram Micro, Redington, VST ECS, Dicker Data, Ardent Networks, Innovix, Westcon and HCL Infosystems.
Since 2007, Canalys Channels Forum have been designed to be the trusted insight for channel partners, distributors, vendors and the mid-market media and delivers both learning and networking opportunities.
