Canon India Pvt. Ltd. and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have organized a National Seminar on “Office Automation & Imaging: Enabling the Next Big Leap”. Eminent people from the Government and corporatist were present at this seminar, which was a platform for sharing the benefits of Office Automation & Imaging products and to exchange new ideas amongst the vendors and users.
Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice President Canon India Pvt. Ltd said, “With augmented demand in transparency and accountability focus on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) reduction, Government and companies today are increasingly aware of the need for improved office automation. They are adopting technological practices that will improve productivity, reduce waste and eliminate redundancy while minimizing environment impact. We feel that Office Automation & Imaging will streamline the complete office infrastructure and will help in increasing productivity.”
The inaugural session addressed the need for enhanced technology adaption in government which will empower and help in increasing productivity. It will also enable the Government to be more accountable and transparent. The session was opened by Dr. Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice President Canon India Pvt. Ltd. and Chairman of CII OA&I Division. The inaugural address was delivered by N Vijayaditya, former DG, NIC, Department of electronics & IT, Ministry of communications & IT.
With an increasing demand for faster decision making, organizations are aiming for cost reduction, improved turnaround time and serviceability. They are looking for value driven solutions for continuous business process improvements within corporate and Government, there is a high demand for managed integration of office functions.
