Capgemini opens new facility in Bangalore
2015-01-21Capgemini has inaugurated a new facility at Whitefield, Bangalore in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah. The inaugural ceremony also witnessed the presence of Aruna Jayanthi, Member of Capgemini Group Executive Committee and CEO, Capgemini India; Eric Lavertu, French Counsul General, Bangalore; and Natarajan Radhakrishnan, Senior Vice-President & Centre Head, Capgemini India.
Aruna Jayanthi said, “Bengaluru has been one of our growth centres where we currently have over 18,000 employees spread across four different offices. With the launch of new facility in Bangalore, we continue to expand our footprints in strategic areas by leveraging the immense skilled talent pool available in the biggest IT hub of the country. The facility further reinforces the commitment of Capgemini group in India.”
The new facility at Divyasree, which is spread across 4.6 lakh sq. ft., offers a seating capacity of 5,000 seats and is expected to offer an array of service offerings including Application Development & Management (ADM), Infrastructure Services, BPO and Consulting Services.
These services will be delivered to Capgemini’s global customers based in the US and Europe from across different industry verticals such as consumer products, retail, financial services, manufacturing and automobiles. The new facility will also house Innovation labs to showcase the company’s industry (vertical) capabilities as well as technology capabilities.
