Ever since PM has urged the nation, Bollywood and South celebrities too have taken part in Social media appeal, to interact with their fans, thus spreading social awareness and showing their positive response. The celebrities are asking their fans to observe self-curfew this Sunday. PM Modi had requested that everyone to maintain Janta Curfew on Sunday amid Coronavirus outbreak. PM has asked people to stay indoors tomorrow, except medical professionals, emergency responders. As a mark of respect to these non tirelessly working individuals, Modi has urged people to stand in their balcony and clap for them.
While Shahrukh Khan said it is necessary to slow down the speed of virus, Kamal Hassan said it is time to take necessary precautions to fight against the virus. While Madhuri Dixit Nene said, it was essential to follow the rules and to be responsible.
Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar tweeted; “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for Janta Curfew. And I support this. Also I laud the decisions taken by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. I urge everyone to support this and overcome this crisis,"
Akshay Kumar took to Twitter handle saying that the Janta curfew was an excellent initiative by the PM and he urged everyone to follow the directive given on March 22 .He tweeted, "An excellent initiative by PM @narendramodi ji...this Sunday, March 22 from 7 am to 9 pm let's all join in the #JantaCurfew and show the world we are together in this. #SocialDistancing."
While a few stars took to social media to appeal to the fans to follow Janta Curfew, a few others, recorded their special video to spread the message.
South stars like Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan did their bit by raising awareness amid coronavirus pandemic. They also recorded videos and urged their fans to follow self-curfew to curb the spread of Covid-19.
