Check Point has earned NSS Labs' "Recommended" rating in the latest intrusion prevention system (IPS) group test. The Check Point IPS Software Blade has achieved 98.3-per cent score in overall protection with superior server and client protection and strong management capabilities.
Bob Walder, Director, Research, NSS Labs, said, "Resistance to known evasion techniques was perfect, achieving 100 per cent across the board in all related tests. Not only were the fragmented and obfuscated attacks blocked successfully, but all of them were also decoded accurately. Additionally, it is clear Check Point put a lot of thought into its central management system."
