Check Point launches new 41000 Security System

Check Point Software Technologies has announced the launch of its new 41000 Security System, a further expansion of the company’s high-performance, scalable network security portfolio. The 41000 Security System delivers optimal security performance with up to 11,000 SecurityPower units (SPU), 40Gbpsof real-life firewall throughput, and 25Gbps of real-life IPS through0ut.

Large data centers and telecommunications infrastructures have non-compromising needs for performance, uptime and scalability. Additionally, these environments often have rigid requirements for high reliability. The 41000 Security System leverages the same multi-blade hardware architecture found in the Check Point 61000, giving data centers and telecommunication providers optimized scalable security and high reliability in real-life environments.

Leveraging the field-proven, carrier-grade platform, the 41000 is a medium-size 6U Security System with the same hardware blades found in the 61000. The 41000 offers more segmentation and connectivity with high port density of up to 30x10GbE and is the only 6U system to offer high-speed interfaces of 40GbE.
