Office Automation & Imaging (OA&I) sector has come to be recognized as the key to personal and organizational productivity. The product categories covered by this sector are integral to Information Communication Technology (ICT) industry and are increasingly finding tremendous opportunity in a myriad of applications – be it in e-Governance, Education, Healthcare, Insurance, Rural Development, Smart Cities, Surveillance, etc and playing a vital role in empowering inclusive growth and making the businesses more efficient. The “Digital India” initiative is one of the most focussed agenda for the Government and OA&I products would be the key to realizing Government’s vision of Digital India and Smart Cities.
CII OA&I Division has been organizing an Annual Seminar for the last four years. Our effort is to create a platform for deliberating on the subjects not only of topical interest but also in line with the business interest of the majority members.
The Seminar’s Theme for the Fifth CII OA&I Annual Event is “Digital India for Skilled, Smart & Secure Nation”. The theme is in line with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of developing “100 Smart Cities” and the Digital India initiative.
The inaugural address would be delivered by Mr Vipin Tyagi, Executive Director, C-DOT. Senior officials from DeitY (Ministry of Communications & IT), Ministry of MSMEs, DGS&D (Ministry of Commerce & Industry), BEE (Ministry of Power) and Ministry of Urban Development have been invited to address the delegates in the inaugural session.
