Charsmathics has released its Charismathics Smart Security Interface (CSSI) version 5.0. With this release the company intends to provide easier and faster installation of PKI devices. It also promises many other services, like switching between number of devices and still being able to access a virtual environment and easier accessibility of files stores on a PC, portable memory devices and cloud through the same strong authentication system.
CSSI 5.0 includes support for CNG – Cryptographic API Next Generation, Microsoft’s long-term replacement for the CryptoAPI, which includes an own Key Storage Provider (KSP). The CSSI 5.0 also fully customizable now.
