
Bengaluru-based Data Safeguard India, a startup specializing in privacy management and fraud prevention, has successfully raised its seed funding round from Auxano Capital.
The newly secured capital will be strategically deployed to accelerate the company's business expansion initiatives, significantly bolster its research and development efforts, and further enhance its AI-powered technology stack.
This technological advancement will be crucial in supporting compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and in effectively combating the growing threat of synthetic fraud.
Established in 2022 by Sudhir Sahu, Data Safeguard offers a suite of advanced solutions leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to secure both structured and unstructured data. Its key product offerings include ID-PRIVACY, ID-REDACT®, and ID-MASK® for comprehensive data redaction and masking, alongside ID-AML and ID-FRAUD, which are designed to detect and prevent sophisticated synthetic identity fraud.
