Dax Networks has launched a 3G-enabled VPN Router DX-924UI-ARO, with a maximum bandwidth of 300 mbps. This router is an advanced version of previously launched DX-924U-ARO Router.
It is integrated with four LAN 10/100 ports, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n LAN, additional 10/100 WAN port and a USB port for supporting CDMA/3G/4G/LTE. The router comes with various enterprise- class routing protocols like L2TP (Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server, IPSEC (Internet Protocol Security), GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) tunnels, NAT (Network Address Translation) and auto backup connection for 3G/4G.
The router supports IPSEC VPN tunnel with highest encryption standards that ensure secure VPN tunnel between locations, which can be connected to the head office, through secure tunnel over broadband. It also supports L2TP and GRE tunnelling.
The router supports the auto failover and rollback of the primary link terminated on the WAN Ethernet. When the primary link fails, the backup link is initiated via CDMA/3G/4G/LTE. This also supports Internet and VPN failover. It allows setting priority among the applications and offers optimum quality of service along with supporting bandwidth management.
The router can be managed and controlled by any SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) based management platform.DX-924UI-ARO also supports security features like embedded firewall. It secures Wi-Fi with the WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy), WPA/WPA2 encryption standards. These features ensure required access control in the network.
