BCC clarified that it does not oppose brands, but seeks constructive collaboration with leading IT manufacturers — including laptops, desktops, printers, CCTVs, and accessories — to develop channel-friendly, transparent policies that support mutual growth.
The Federation of All India IT Associations (FAIITA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Deepak Bommisetty as the Chairman of the FAIITA Brand Coordination Committee (BCC). A founding member of FAIITA since its establishment in 2013, Mr. Bommisetty has played a pivotal role in advancing the association’s mission across multiple capacities over the years.
In his new role, Mr. Bommisetty will spearhead efforts to foster transparent and equitable partnerships between IT brands and channel partners. His extensive industry experience and unwavering commitment align closely with FAIITA’s guiding principle — “One Nation, One Price, One Model” — which strives to standardize product pricing and restore customer trust across all sales channels.
Navin Gupta, President of FAIITA, expressed confidence in the new leadership, stating, “We are confident that his leadership will significantly enhance our brand coordination efforts and contribute to the growth and success of our association.”
The BCC will operate under a unified framework called ‘One Nation – One Price – One Model – Auto Price Mechanism’, aimed at eliminating price disparity across platforms, reinforcing trust in physical retail, and strengthening the position of brick-and-mortar (B&M) stores.
A major initiative under Mr. Bommisetty’s leadership is the 5-Hour Challenge — a commitment to resolving member grievances related to brand policies, pricing, or online competition within five hours. This initiative emphasizes accountability, agility, and member-first action.
Accepting his new role, Mr. Bommisetty said, “Along with our Co-Chair Shri Susheel ji, I accept this responsibility with humility and dedication. We pledge to serve with transparency and integrity, safeguarding the interests of the IT retail fraternity.” He also shared that a detailed committee structure and strategic roadmap will be released soon.
A key priority will be the promotion of www.indiaitmall.com, FAIITA’s national digital marketplace, envisioned as a powerful revenue channel and unified voice for IT retailers across India.
Mr. Bommisetty also announced the BCC Membership Drive, calling on senior channel partners to join the movement. “This is our industry and our responsibility. If not now, then when?” He urged, highlighting the challenges posed by Online Sellers (OLS), Large Format Retailers (LFRs), and rapid delivery platforms like Blinkit and Instamart.
