The latest XPS lineup introduces Intel Core Ultra-powered laptops with enhanced thermal efficiency, immersive OLED display options, refined industrial design, and sustainability-focused engineering, targeting professionals and creators seeking portability and high-end computing experiences.
Dell Technologies has launched its redesigned premium laptops, the XPS 14 and XPS 16, in the Indian market. Built from the ground up, the new lineup combines advanced computing performance, refined design language, and portability-focused engineering, reinforcing Dell’s flagship XPS positioning for creators and professionals.
The refreshed models introduce a slimmer and lighter build, measuring just 14.6mm in thickness. The XPS 14 weighs 1.36kg, while the XPS 16 comes in at 1.65kg, making them more portable than previous generations. For the first time, the XPS logo has been placed prominently on the lid, reflecting user feedback and a refreshed visual identity.
AI-ready performance and advanced thermal design
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the new XPS laptops are designed to handle demanding workloads across productivity, content creation, and entertainment. With integrated Intel Arc graphics and Copilot+ PC capabilities, the devices support AI-driven workflows, faster editing, and improved responsiveness across applications.
Dell has also redesigned the thermal system with larger, thinner fans that improve airflow efficiency, reduce base temperature by up to 8 degrees, and operate significantly quieter than earlier models. The laptops deliver strong battery performance, supporting extended streaming and local video playback, positioning them as all-day productivity machines.
Premium craftsmanship and user-centric design
The XPS 14 and XPS 16 feature CNC-machined aluminium construction combined with Gorilla Glass protection, offering durability and a refined finish. A minimalistic design approach reduces visual clutter while enhancing structural strength. Based on user feedback, Dell has reinstated the physical function row and refined the keyboard for improved tactile feedback and typing comfort.
A seamless glass touchpad with subtle markings ensures smooth navigation, while design enhancements aim to improve usability during long working hours.
Immersive display and audio experience
Both models offer InfinityEdge displays with multiple configuration options, including power-efficient 2K LCD panels and high-resolution OLED variants. The OLED displays deliver enhanced brightness, improved colour accuracy, and longer lifespan, while reducing power consumption compared to previous generations.
An integrated quad-speaker system delivers spatial audio, and a redesigned webcam module supports high-quality video calls within a compact frame. These improvements enable slimmer bezels without compromising performance.
Sustainability and market positioning
Dell has integrated recycled materials and sustainable packaging across the XPS lineup, aligning with global environmental standards including ENERGY STAR and EPEAT Gold certification. The devices also feature modular components designed for easier repair and reduced electronic waste.
The XPS 14 starts at ₹2,05,990, while the XPS 16 starts at ₹2,78,550. The laptops are available via Dell’s online store, exclusive outlets, and select retail partners across India.
