The latest report informed that Dell(NASDAQ:DELL) is all set to shift its customer support operations from Mohali centre in Punjab to other sites including Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Bangalore. Inaugurated by Dell' Global Chief Michael Dell, the company had opened its Mohali contact centre in March 2005.
According to the official statement issued by Dell, "The company has announced the transfer of business of our customer support operations from Mohali contact center to Dell's other customer support sites namely Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Bangalore. As the company continues to evolve, we consistently review and study our operations in an effort to remain competitive, improve our efficiency and most importantly determine where we can add the most value to customers."
It is believed that Dell will maintain its focus on providing its customers with the excellent support experience, without interruption till November 2014, (from Mohali). However, there is good news for employees working at Mohali centre as they would be allowed to continue working for Dell as per 'relocation guidelines'.
