Digital economy to bring job opportunities
2017-09-16In a recently held conference Digital Haryana Summit in, GURUGRAM Ravi Shankar Prasad,Minister of Electronics and IT said ,India’s growing digital economy is to provide job opportunities to about 50-70 lakh youth in the country by 2020.The event was jointly organised by NASSCOM and IT Industry.
It is important to have affordable and inclusive technology to ensure growth and prosperity for the masses, Prasad said and further added, launching of the cyber security policy by the state and with this Haryana is the first in the country to implement such a policy.
Haryana is a base for thousands of Indian and global tech companies and there is a huge potential for the state to become an electronics and mobile manufacturing hub, he said. Lastly, he has said on the promoting the BPO sector to come in smaller cities like Rohtak and Jhajjar will be of great potential.
