Challenges: Jharkhand prison consists of 26 district jails in the city. It is indeed an expansive facility consisting of different areas & hence keeping a physical watch 24 x 7 is a challenge. The key objective of the Surveillance modernization process at Jharkhand prison was to improve the safety & security of inmates, monitor unsolicited activity, enhance search capabilities, and remote video monitoring.
