Dr. Debabrata Nayak has joined the professional services company PWC India as Director of Cyber Security in Advisory Business line. He will be responsible for leading cyber security best practices in the telecom domain.
He joined PWC India from Ericsson where he served as Head of Cyber Security Managed Security Service. He joined Ericsson in June 2022 and was associated with the company for two years.
He is also associated with National Payment Corporation of India as Cyber Security Head. In his career of more than 18 years he has served various companies like Huawei Telecom and Technologies of India, ABB India, Motorola India etc. in various capacities.
He has done Ph.D. in Wireless Security Policy & Optimization Techniques from IIT, Mumbai. He also holds an M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT, Rourkela.
He has actively participated in FICCI, ASSOCHAM, CII, COAI, GISFI, NASSCOM-DSCI, TRAI, TEC, DOT, 3GPP SA3, ETSI, ITU, CSA, CSRI, IEEE, TSDSI & MeiTY, NSCS.
