To ensure free protection for the mobile devices at no additional cost, Russian developer of information security software,Dr.WEB, has announced the release of the Internet service Dr.Web AV-Desk 6.2 for the subscribers.
The new server version allows group administrator accounts with restricted permissions to be created; this means that an administrator with greater levels of access can prevent administrators from creating or deleting stations, changing a station's subscription package, altering when a subscription is to be stopped or restarted, as well as from tampering with other settings Administrators can also create groups for other group administrator accounts. The Internet service now supports Windows Server 2012. In addition, new subscription groups-Dr.Web Free and Dr.Web Mobile-have been introduced for customers who use mobile devices in their work.
The new version of Dr.Web AV-Desk Proxy supports file caching during installation which significantly saves traffic when the agent software is installed.
