Dubai to Build Crypto Tower by 2027

Dubai is solidifying its position as a global leader in innovation with the launch of the Crypto Tower, a ground-breaking 17-story development, designed to transform blockchain, DeFi, and Web3 industries. 
 
Announced on Wednesday by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and REIT Development, this ambitious project reflects the city’s commitment to fostering emerging technologies.

What sets the Crypto Tower apart is its integration of blockchain technology into building management. 
 
Tenants will benefit from on-chain voting, smart contracts, and automated systems that simplify operations, enhance transparency, and foster trust. 

 
This forward-thinking approach will revolutionize tenant interactions and set a benchmark for efficiency in community decision-making.
Spanning in around 150,000 square feet, the tower will offer:

• Nine floors of high-tech offices for crypto startups and established businesses.
• Three floors dedicated to blockchain incubators and venture capital firms.
• One floor for AI innovation, designed to push technological boundaries.

Additional highlights include a 10,000-square-feet indoor event space, a 3,500-square-feet outdoor area for major blockchain events, and a 30,000-square-feet crypto club on the top three floors to promote collaboration and networking.
 
Luxury and technology intersect in unique features such as an NFT art gallery, a gold bullion shop for physical asset investments, an exotic car dealership, and a 5,000-square-foot vault for secure storage of valuables like gold, cash, and cold wallets.
 
Slated for completion by Q1 2027, the Crypto Tower is set to become a hub for blockchain innovation and technological advancement. 

“The Crypto Tower bridges blockchain, Web3, and real estate,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DMCC’s Executive Chairman and CEO. “It will be a global center for progress and an invaluable asset to our members.” he said.
