Dubai’s Donna Cyber-Cafe is all set to open next year, becoming the first in the world to be completely run without the help of humans.
The cafe will be open 24 hours and it will employ a supermodel robot to serve customers. In addition, there will be a number of self-serve ice cream machines and coffee operated by robot arms.
Known as a Robo-C2, the model is capable of greeting and even remembering customers, storing and reciting company information and holding conversations and even telling stories. The makers stated that the components for the robot are imported from Russia.
The creators also stated that the robot has an “easygoing and feminine” personality and it is also programmed to be a little ironic. The location of the first Donna Cyber-Cafe is unknown. However, the country is expected to see more of such cafes.
