ECGC names Shashank Bajpai as its CISO

Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) has announced that Shashank Bajpai has been appointed as the CISO at ECGC. A specialist in cyber security and information security compliance for financial services, Shashank Bajpai was the former Chief Information and Security Officer (CISO) at Acko General Insurance.

Bajpai brings more than a decade of experience in information security domain, with an extensive background in leading corporate IT infrastructure strategy, creating an end-to-end infosec risk posture, and implementing key cyber security policies and controls.

Bajpai ensures that security is inbuilt in the design stage itself for the new systems and internal networks.He will also drive the implementation of new cyber security initiatives and set up the Security Operations Center, thereby taking the existing security maturity at ECGC to the next level.
