India's leading competitive test preparation platform Edukemy has entered into a first-of-its-kind partnership with actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood’s Sood Charity Foundation to offer 100% scholarships to economically weaker section students preparing for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exam.
The idea behind the partnership is to provide financial assistance to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students. Eligible students will be offered full scholarships on the foundation course for SSC exams that would cover six months of end-to-end preparation with 300+ live classes.
“The foundation was started with the purpose of helping the needy across segments covering education, medical, healthcare, career opportunities. Our diligent focus is to empower the underprivileged to gain access to the best facilities and resources," Sonu Sood said in a statement.
The initiative is already live on the websites of both Edukemy and Sood Charity Foundation, helping the underprivileged people by giving them access to better quality education, career opportunities and healthcare.
Founded by Chandrahas Panigrahi, Shabbir A Bashir, and Deb Tripathi, Edukemy aims to scale the learning experience for every individual by offering an insightful and enriching environment for students, focusing on live classes, handwritten notes, and an interactive platform.
SSC conducts the examination to recruit staff for various Group B and C positions in multiple ministries, departments, and organizations under the Government of India.
