Emerson Network Power introduces SmartRow Solution

Intending to reduce energy consumption by up to 27% compared to a data center with conventional design, Emerson Network Power has produced a solution named “SmartRow” which will be applicable to the indoor environment such as medium- and small-sized data center or computer room.

It is designed to support up to 40kW of IT equipment in a multi-rack configuration with integrated power, cooling, infrastructure management and fire suppression. It leverages industry best practices to provide a solution that is efficient, economical, interoperable and controllable to address the challenges of efficiency, capacity and availability.

The basic components of SmartRow are high-density Server Rack; Cold Aisle & Hot Aisle Containment; Precision Cooling Unit – with Digital Scroll technology; Rack Mount UPS along with Battery cabinet; Fire suppression system; Biometric access and emergency Exhaust Air Ventilation.

The major areas of applications of SmartRow solution include Telecom, Government, Banking and Insurance, Education, Medical and hospital, Energy, Manufacturing, TV and broadcast, Transportation and Logistics.
