To provide innovative platform to domestic electronic manufacturers in India to meet the consumption of electronics, electronica India and productronica India (epIndia) will commence from 4th to 6th September, 2013 in New Delhi.
These events will be sponsored and supported by various electronic associations like Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA), Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka (CLIK) and LED Products Manufacturers' Association, India (LEDMA).
This edition of the trade fairs will feature a seminar on “Enabling a Competitive Eco-System for Electronics Manufacturing – EMS and Automotive Electronics” by ELCINA. Along with the exhibitions, the trade fairs will also feature conference on LED technologies. The conference will provide a platform to the buyers and the manufacturers to interact and to avail of the information on the current industry trends.
Rajoo Goel, Secretary General, ELCINA, said, “The Indian electronics industry is entering a very exciting phase with upcoming opportunities presented by a growing market and the newly announced National Electronics Policy. While ecosystem challenges exist, the development of specialized clusters and liberal capital investment incentives provide an excellent opportunity for domestic as well as global players to cater to the Indian market and also serve international markets.”
This platform will create an opportunity for ESDM (Electronic System Design & Manufacturing) sector based companies to look at India as their next destination to cater to the domestic Indian demand as well as act as an exports hub.
