FICO has entered into a global partnership with Tech Mahindra to help banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) organisations accelerate value creation through AI-powered decisioning and advanced analytics.
As part of the partnership, Tech Mahindra will set up a dedicated Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the FICO Platform, aimed at supporting large-scale core banking modernisation and intelligent decision-making for financial institutions worldwide.
The collaboration is designed to help banks transform legacy core banking environments by consolidating fragmented decisioning systems into a unified, AI-driven decision layer. The CoE will provide end-to-end consulting, implementation and managed services, enabling enterprises to deploy the FICO Platform more efficiently and achieve faster, measurable business outcomes.
Tech Mahindra said it will leverage its expertise in digital transformation, cloud-native architectures, data engineering and AI-led modernisation to accelerate customer adoption. The company will also apply its global delivery model, industry frameworks and accelerators to integrate the FICO Platform into complex banking ecosystems, reducing implementation risk and shortening time-to-value.
“Enterprises are struggling to derive meaningful returns from their digital transformation investments, a challenge made worse by a global shortage of data scientists and system architects,” said Harshul Asnani, President and Head of Europe Business at Tech Mahindra. He said the partnership brings together FICO’s analytics capabilities with Tech Mahindra’s implementation expertise to help customers drive innovation at scale and unlock tangible business outcomes.
The partnership also includes plans for dedicated skill development and enablement programmes, under which Tech Mahindra will train consultants on FICO’s AI-driven decisioning tools. The initiatives are intended to help enterprises move from AI experimentation to production-ready deployments, de-risking adoption while maximising return on investment.
“Businesses are looking for the fastest path to value from the FICO Platform,” said Alexandre Graff, Vice President for Global Partners and Alliances at FICO. “By combining Tech Mahindra’s FICO-trained experts, accelerators and ready-to-deploy integrations, organisations can significantly reduce implementation risk and accelerate their digital transformation journeys.”
While the initial focus of the Centre of Excellence will be on BFSI clients, the two companies said the scope will expand over time as they jointly develop industry-specific solutions using the FICO Platform for additional sectors.
