Fortinet has announced the formation of a Partner Advisory Council (PAC) to help the company to improve its responsiveness to customer needs and gain deeper insights from its channel ecosystem.
There will be 13 key Fortinet partners who have been selected for their in-depth understanding of the IT security business among the council. These partners will help Fortinet’s senior management to localize the firm's go-to-market strategy for its security solutions nationwide and across all verticals.
Vishak Raman, Fortinet's Senior Regional Director for India & SAARC said, “The Partner Advisory Council will help us gain deeper insight into partners' and customers' business needs. Jointly we will define our go-to-market strategy, especially for enterprise customers, and over time we will establish an ecosystem that will benefit all our partners.”
He added, "We are excited by the vast potential offered by the PAC program. We will enroll more partners with a greater diversification of expertise over time, so that more enterprises in India can enjoy the full benefits of our end-to-end security solutions."
In the coming months, Fortinet will start implementing the recommendations of the council to improve channel engagement on the field and to take existing channel partner relationships to the next level. The council will meet once every six months.
