Fortis Healthcare has appointed Ajay Vij as its new CIO. Prior to this, Vij was the Head of Supply Chain Management in the company for more than two years. Vij is an expert in e-commerce, retail, healthcare, consulting, financial services and manufacturing sectors. He replaced Veneeth Pururshotaman who has moved on and joined Aster DM Healthcare.
Earlier, Vij was associated with companies like Reliance Retail, Siemens Information Systems, Pedder Johnson Finance, Crompton Greaves and SWIL. He has more than two decades of experience in the industry.
