GIGABYTE has announced that their desktop motherboards based on the Intel H61 Express Chipset, has turned out to be a big hit among channel partners. Launched in India in H2 2011, this series features GIGABYTE's Glass Fabric PCB design that helps protect against electrical shorts due to humidity by reducing the gaps in spacing between PCB filaments.
Nilesh Khakhra, Kolkata-based Crown Trading Company, a GIGABYTE Premier Partner, said, "Price-conscious customers, who are also techno-savvy, are the ones who are increasingly opting for H61 GIGABYTE motherboards. Almost all the models under the series, come with GIGABYTE's patented Dual BIOS technology, two SATA cables, USB Controller integrated in the main chip, three power phases, three audio jacks in the rear I/O, and PCI Express x16 expansion slots, among other features. Whereas the most popular model, GA H61M-S2P-B3, also comes with a COM port and an LPT port in the rear I/O. All these ensure a very high performance-price ratio, which an average Indian PC user yearns for."
