Google can not keep your Personal Data any More....You can delete those by this Feature …!!!
2019-05-02It is a known fact that Google keeps a track of your location, web usage and other activities performed by you on your Android smartphone. By keeping a track of the location history, Google is able to recommend you a nearby restaurant and by allowing Google to access your personal data apps like Google Maps are more useful.
However, some users might have a problem with sharing this information with the company. The tech giant has now introduced a new tool which will enable users to manage or delete their personal data. The company said that it has introduced this feature after the feedback received from users.
In an official post the company said, "You can already use your Google Account to access simple on/off controls for Location History and Web & App Activity, and if you choose-to delete all or part of that data manually. In addition to these options, we’re announcing auto-delete controls that make it even easier to manage your data."
Here's how this new feature from Google will work:
Users have to choose the time limit for how long they want their activity data to be saved . Users can select from 3 to 18 months. After this, any data which is older than the set time frame will be deleted automatically from the account on regular basis. These controls are coming first to Location History and Web & App Activity and will roll out in the coming weeks.
Recently, Google announced that it will be launching new Pixel smartphones. The company is all set to launch the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a smartphones at its upcoming annual developer conference Google I/O 2019. The smartphones will launch on May 8 and will be exclusively available via Flipkart in India.
