Google has announced “Gemini Intelligence”, a suite of artificial intelligence (AI) features that can handle multi-step actions like booking, searching, summarizing, or organizing information. It can also create personalised widgets based on user behaviour, reducing everyday friction, meaning fewer taps, less manual work, and smoother interactions. Gemini Intelligence will start to roll out on the Samsung Galaxy S26 series and the Google Pixel 10 lineup later in 2026. Google also plans to expand these AI capabilities across Android-based platforms.
“You can speak naturally and it will take the important parts, then fit them all together into a concise message. Rambler will clearly show you when you’ve enabled it to help convert your voice to text and audio is only used to transcribe in real-time and is not stored or saved,” Google said in a blog post.
Gemini Intelligence features are slated to roll out in phases. The latest Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones will get them in the summer. Android devices including watches, AI-enabled cars, glasses, and laptops will get them later this year.
The tech giant stressed on maintaining privacy and user control over these new AI features, noting that Gemini only acted on command and that it stopped the moment the task was complete. The company said it spent months fine-tuning automation on the Galaxy S26 and the Pixel 10, on popular food and rideshare apps, to ensure seamless interactions.
