2020-09-19
The much awaited Pixel 5 to get unveiled on September 30th at 11am PT – just two weeks after the launch of iPhone 12. The Pixel smartphone maker has started sending the invite to some of the media professionals for the September 30 event. While the invite doesn’t specifically name or have a mentioned of Pixel 5, but it clearly states that the event is all about a new Chromecast, latest smart speakers and Pixel phones.
In addition to leaked photos of the Pixel 5, specs for the device have also been revealed, pointing to a device with a 90Hz display, 8GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 765G processor. The Pixel 5 is also expected to come equipped with a dual-camera setup, but instead of a secondary telephoto lens, reports claim the device will feature a wide-angle lens. Having a wide-angle lens is great for taking pictures of landscapes, allowing users to capture much more of a scene.

Google previously teased the Pixel 4a 5G at a starting price of $499, with rumors claiming the device will feature a larger display compared to the Pixel 4a.
