When estimated, the size of both security and the fire industry constitute approximately Rs. 8500 - Rs. 10,000 crore.Over the last decade the Indian security industry has witnessed a metamorphosis. With IT playing a major role, security is starting to become part and parcel of everyone’s daily lives. Integrated security is going to be the need of the hour over the next two to three years because people believe that standalone security products by themselves would require huge man power to manage and would still not be efficient enough. The security market is dominated mainly by CCTV surveillance as the customer believes that “Seeing is Believing”.

“We just don’t give our customers a Gunnebo product, we give them a solution put together and that’s the answer to the customer’s problem.”
Gunnebo commenced its India operations in System Integration in 2011. Roopak Gupta, Vice President Security Systems, Gunnebo India said, “At that time, the system integration companies were dependent on Gunnebo for the installation and maintenance of our OEM security products. We observed that the full potential of the product was not tapped while preparing / implementing a solution and it made us realize that it was the right time to approach the market with a good product hand in hand with a complete solution being offered as a system integrator. In short we are able to provide end to end security solutions to our customers.”
As a system integrator, Gunnebo works with all the major OEM brands across the globe with the aim to provide products which exactly suit its client’s requirement. The beauty of Gunnebo is that it integrates security products with products of other security brands and in turn provides them with a comprehensive security solution.
