Handset maker HONOR has announced the launch of its mid-range smartphone, the HONOR X7c 5G, in India. The device will be available exclusively on Amazon.in at an introductory price of ₹14,999 from August 20 to August 22, 2025.
The X7c 5G is aimed at younger consumers and value-conscious users seeking a balance of performance, style, and long-lasting reliability. It combines a large display, AI-driven optimizations, a high-resolution camera, and a robust battery within a slim form factor.
Display and build
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch FHD+ TFT LCD screen with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, delivering sharp visuals for streaming, gaming, and reading. Protected by aluminosilicate glass, the panel promises durability against daily wear. Weighing just 193 grams and measuring 8.24mm in thickness, the handset comes in two colour options—Forest Green and Moonlight White.
Performance and camera capabilities
Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 613 GPU, the device is designed for smooth multitasking. Running on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14, it integrates HONOR’s AI suite for performance tuning, power management, and user interface responsiveness.
The X7c 5G sports a 50MP main camera with a depth sensor, supported by HONOR’s AI image processing for improved clarity and colour accuracy. Photography modes such as Night, Portrait, and PRO enhance versatility, while the 5MP front camera handles selfies and face unlock. Video recording is supported at 1080p resolution.
Battery and connectivity
A 5200mAh battery underpins the device, supported by 35W SuperCharge fast charging. Coupled with AI-based power optimization, the smartphone is engineered to deliver all-day performance for communication, entertainment, and productivity.
The handset carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It supports dual 5G SIMs, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. A screen protector and TPU case are included in the box.
With its mix of design, AI-enabled features, and endurance-focused hardware, the HONOR X7c 5G is positioned as an affordable yet capable option for India’s expanding 5G smartphone market.
