HP has announced two consumer notebooks featuring multitouch displays, including a hybrid PC. The company claims these notebook PCs as their first HP products announced with Microsoft Windows 8.
The HP ENVY x2 is an ultrathin hybrid PC that features detachable screen and becomes a full tablet when separated from the keyboard via a magnetic latch, whereas the HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 aims to bring the intuitive power of touch to ultramobile PCs and offers a 14-inch diagonal multitouch HD display along with the Intel processors and solid-state drive options.
