The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) India successfully concluded Illuminate APAC 2026, its premier annual conference, held from February 5 to February 7, 2026, at Taj Vivanta Whitefield, Bengaluru.
The three-day event was title sponsored by SoftwareOne, with ScaleFusion and TechData as Gold Sponsors, and brought together 125+ CXOs and senior leaders from across India, along with international participation from Singapore and the Maldives. The strong regional and global presence reinforced Illuminate’s growing significance within the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
The conference commenced with a vibrant Community Party, designed as an informal icebreaker to reconnect members and foster new relationships. The high‑energy evening emphasized trust, collaboration, and meaningful networking, setting the tone for the strategic discussions that followed.
Illuminate 2026 was formally kickstarted with a Presidential Core Note delivered by Neeraj Gargi, President, IAMCP India, titled “Connections to Impact: The Power of a Unified Community.”
In his address, Mr. Gargi reflected on IAMCP India’s key achievements over the past year and introduced new initiatives aimed at empowering members as they navigate an evolving technology landscape. His message underscored the importance of collaboration, community‑led growth, and collective impact within the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
Sarvanan Ramakrishnan, Director – SMB Sales, Microsoft, delivered a keynote outlining Microsoft’s partner strategy, emphasizing the critical role partners play in driving growth and highlighting IAMCP India’s role as a vital bridge between Microsoft and its partner community.
Adding a strong regional and global perspective, Suresh Ramani, President, IAMCP APAC, delivered an inspiring session titled “Connect · Learn · Grow: Your IAMCP Passport to APAC & International Success,” followed by strategic insights on AI Enablement and the Partner Roadmap for the Future.
AI and cloud transformation featured prominently across the agenda. Sanjeev Sharma, Director – Tech Sales & Partner CTO, Microsoft, led a dedicated session titled “AI Enablement: Roadmap for Partners,” providing a practical blueprint for partners to integrate AI and generative technologies into their service offerings.
Another major highlight was the Partner Roundtable, organized in collaboration with Microsoft and led by Jaya Mahadevan, Director – Territory Channels, Microsoft. The session enabled selected partners to engage in open dialogue with Microsoft leadership on aligning business objectives with Microsoft’s strategic roadmap.
This was followed by the introduction of the IAMCP LaunchPad, a focused initiative designed to accelerate partner growth. Ajitabh Dwivedi, Revenue Officer – Digital & AI Transformation, Microsoft, presented on partner acceleration through Microsoft VDS as part of this initiative.
The afternoon sessions featured expert panel discussions covering key pillars of the partner ecosystem, including Partner‑to‑Partner collaboration, ISV transformation journeys, and the Workplace of the Future, bringing together industry leaders for candid, experience‑driven conversations.
The day concluded with a formal Awards Ceremony, recognizing outstanding partners, chapters, and community champions for their contributions and achievements across multiple categories.
Illuminate 2026 concluded with overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, many of whom expressed strong interest in deeper collaboration and more frequent in‑person engagements. The event left the IAMCP community energized, aligned, and ready to move forward together.
