Breaking News

ideaForge Technology, a top Indian drone (UAV) company, has won a big order worth around ₹137 crore from the Indian Army. This emergency order is for their hybrid Mini UAVs, which are already used by the Army for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
These drones are battle-tested, including during Operation Sindoor, and have proven their strength in tough real-world situations. They are VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) drones, meaning they don’t need a runway to operate. The Army chose ideaForge’s drones after very strict testing, including deep checks to ensure no parts come from countries that share borders with India.
Two expert teams thoroughly examined the drones. They visited factories, stripped down the drones, and verified every part to ensure they met security and quality standards. The drones were also checked for complete Indian design and manufacturing.
The Mini UAV has also received the “Fit for Indian Military Use” certification, confirming its high reliability and performance.
ideaForge CEO Ankit Mehta said the order will help India’s counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism (CI/CT) operations and is proof of the Army’s strong trust in their Made-in-India defense technology.
The entire order will be delivered within 12 months, meeting the Army’s urgent needs.
