According to 6Wresearch, India A4 Printer market shipments reached more than 3.2 million. In the printing technology segment, Inkjet and Laser together captured around 92% share of the market.
Technological advancements and reduction in the prices of Multi-Function printers (MFPs) have resulted in an increase in demand for laser printers over the inkjet-based Single-Function printers (SFPs). Increasing penetration of Internet in India has helped in the growth of digital content which, in turn, has attracted consumers towards reliable and cost-efficient printing solutions.
Growth in corporate activities across the banking, financial, manufacturing, IT and government sector have fuelled the demand of MFP devices across the country.
