Indian Mobile App Development gets reckoned
2010-07-02For over twenty years, the SAS Survival Guide has been the definitive guide for surviving in any situation anywhere in the world. Now, for the first time ever, the million-copy bestselling book has been reinvented for the iPhone. To survive at the time of disaster, Trellisys, in partnership with Harper Collins, has brought an iPhone application SAS.
The entire SAS-Survival Guide application covers Sea Coast, Desert Tropics, Polar environments, First Aid and even urban disasters. Trellisys is aiming to port newer books onto the iPhone, iPad and Android platforms in the coming three months. The application is currently listed in the top 20 list over 60 countries worldwide with top sales in the UK and the US.
The application includes the full text of the bestselling book optimized for the iPhone. It also includes 16 videos providing invaluable survival tips from John "Lofty" Wiseman himself. Photo galleries of edible, medicinal and poisonous plants, Survival Checklist, Sun Compass, Search tool to scan the entire book by subject, and Comprehensive First Aid section further add to the list.
Trellisys.net is a Bangalore-based company that develops unique application with Harper Collins. In the past, it has also developed Grabbler, Facebook game that was among the top 50 games on Facebook and voted # 1 from India.
