Infinix launches GT 30 Pro gaming smartphone in India starting at Rs 24,999

Infinix has come up with its latest gaming-centric smartphone, the GT 30 Pro, in India. Aimed at mobile gamers and performance enthusiasts, the device boasts a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, a powerful MediaTek chipset, and a robust battery setup.

Specifications

The GT 30 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 1224x2720 pixels. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and delivers peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, enhancing durability during intense gaming sessions. The device is also rated IP64, offering resistance to dust and splashes.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. Storage is limited to a single variant of 256GB, with no mention of expandable storage. The device runs Android 15 with the company’s custom XOS 15 skin on top. Infinix promises two years of Android updates and three years of security patches for the GT 30 Pro.

Cameras, battery and price

Photography is handled by a 108MP primary camera, though additional camera specifications have not been detailed. For security and convenience, the device includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster.

The 5,500 mAh battery powers the GT 30 Pro, supporting 45W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging, catering to users who need quick top-ups during heavy gaming use.

The smartphone is available in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at ₹24,999, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at ₹26,999.

Buyers can choose between Dark Flare and Blade White colour options. Sales begin on June 12 via Flipkart.

As part of the launch, Infinix is offering a ₹2,000 discount on ICICI Bank cards and an additional ₹2,000 exchange bonus. An optional GT Gaming Kit, which includes a magnetic cooling fan and custom GT case, is also available for ₹1,199 when bundled with the smartphone.
