Building on the potential of the country’s large Internet user base, Intex technologies has announced the launch of its 3G-enabled entry-level smartphone Cloud Y12. The smartphone is aimed at bringing 2G users to the advanced and sophisticated Internet platform of 3G networks.
The Cloud Y12 smartphone is ergonomically designed with an enhanced performance backed by hardware and software configurations.

In order to catalyze this change, we require an affordably priced enabler that is equipped with relevant technological backup and hardware. Our latest offering, Cloud Y12, is the best 3G-enabled device that looks impressively elegant and gives a supreme Internet user experience.”
The Intex Cloud Y12 smartphone is powered by a fast 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM, a 4GB ROM and an internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB. The Cloud Y12 also features a 2-mega pixel rear camera and a VGA front camera for video calling. The phone runs on an Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and comes with a 10.2cm (4-inch) FWVGA screen. It is packed with a large Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh for an extended battery backup on 3G usages. It has various GPS/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity options. This Dual-SIM smartphone is powered with Intex’s OTA (Over The Air) update application.
Available in White, Red, Blue and Black, the phone is priced at Rs.5,490/-.
