Intuit and Anthropic have announced a multi-year strategic partnership to bring secure, customized AI agents to mid-market businesses and consumers, combining Intuit’s financial expertise with Anthropic’s Claude AI platform.
Through integration of the Claude Agent SDK into Intuit’s platform, mid-sized businesses will be able to build and deploy industry-specific AI agents tailored to their operational needs—without requiring deep technical expertise. These agents will support compliant workflows across tax, accounting, payroll, cash flow, inventory, and marketing functions.
For example, a multi-location restaurant group could deploy an AI agent that connects sales, payroll, and inventory data to automatically identify margin pressures and underperforming outlets. Similarly, a construction firm could create an agent that links project timelines, subcontractor payments, and cash flow forecasts to flag billing gaps and compliance risks in real time.
Beyond enterprise use cases, Intuit’s financial intelligence—spanning TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Intuit Enterprise Suite—will be embedded directly within Anthropic’s products, including Claude, Claude for Enterprise, and Cowork. Users will be able to access invoicing, tax estimation, debt management, and financial planning tools seamlessly within the Claude ecosystem.
Intuit is also deploying Claude Code internally to accelerate software development across its engineering organization.
All AI agents will operate within Intuit’s security, compliance, and data governance framework, ensuring privacy and responsible AI usage.
The new AI-powered financial experiences are expected to begin rolling out in spring 2026, marking a significant step toward agent-driven financial automation for businesses and individuals alike.
