The ISODA United Summit 2024, held from August 21st to 24th in Kovalam, Kerala, was a grand success, bringing together the best minds in the IT channel industry for three days of insightful discussions, networking, and celebrations. Day 1 began with the ISODA Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members discussed initiatives aimed at enhancing the association's visibility and membership. The Management Committee, with unanimous support from members, decided to retain the current board for continuity, except for the appointment of Pratik Shah, Director at ITCG Technologies LLP, as the new Regional Secretary - West.
Day 2 was marked by an inspiring keynote address from Sreekumar Balachandran, Global IT Head at Suntech Group, President - Kerala Chapter, CIO Association of India who emphasized the growing trend of hybrid cloud solutions as well as the growing repatriation. His words resonated with the audience, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing technological innovations from a transformative roadmap point of view.
The evening Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony were the crowning moments of Day 2. For the first time, ISODA members nominated and voted for channel-friendly OEMs, called the ISODA OEM Awards 2024, with SonicWall and Sophos emerging as the winners.
